This week’s post will be short and sweet. In an attempt to conquer the fantasy of the elusive work/life balance, I’m packing up the Passat and heading out to Palm Springs. Spending time with my son and friends, visiting Desert X , and hitting the reset button will be the only items on my agenda.
The rain has finally passed and the sun is shining brightly, at least for the moment. I can see the snow capped mountains as I type this. Let me bathe in Vitamin D and soak up the energy of Spring. I am grateful for the ability to hit pause on life. How else can I maintain sanity amidst the chaos? Will I truly be able to “pause”? Probably not, but I am going to give it my best shot.
Begin this April with a Reiki session, evaluate life-goals, and smoke a nice sativa. Get your mind, body, and soul right. We are in the month of 4/20. What better way to honor April than taking care of you first?
