Grit.

Grit. Gratitude. Grass. Three words that define the lifestyle habits I have practiced daily to endure, thrive, and find joy in all the days. I’m Andrea. A single mother with Multiple Sclerosis, proud cannabis consumer, and owner of a small Reiki practice.

In November of 2021, I fled a domestic violence situation that I’d been experiencing in silent agony for years. Sadly, my circumstances are not uncommon. What makes my story stand apart is the willingness to be open and unashamed of my circumstances. To candidly share the perspective of being a single mother and show the nitty-gritty, pain, and the beauty of choosing myself first.

I created Grit. Gratitude. Grass. as a safe space for women to share their stories openly without fear of judgment or stigma. I aim to build a community that will lend support, inspire resiliency, but most of all help other women going through similar hells. No woman left behind!

I invite you to pack a bowl, settle in, and witness the magic that is possible when practicing grit, gratitude, and grass.

I love you mom.

Gratitude.

Addiction; a monster that wraps its fingers around a person’s throat and digs in until there is nothing left, but the shell of their former selves.
